Why do you love your period so much?

Completely serious answer: Because I think being a woman is a truly special thing. I’m not like one of those people who think that women are ~better than men, nor do I believe that a woman’s only job is to pop out babies, but I do believe that being a woman and the things that go along with that are really kind of marvelous, and when I’m on my period I feel really connected to the world and really alive and fertile and awesome.

I’m a Women’s Studies major. I think I’m required to love my period.
